KRISTIN EMILY HALL

Kristin is the owner and founder of THE HOT YOGA SCHOOL, as well as, HOT YOGA MV which is located on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard.  Voted Best of the Vineyard, HOT YOGA MV lends itself to (OHY) teacher training, in-studio classes and private instruction. At HOT YOGA MV, Kristin and her dedicated staff educate students on the roots of the Vinyasa culture, the history of yoga as a whole, and the therapeutic aspects of yoga, following the Bishnu Ghosh lineage.  In 2016, Kristin began offering one of the only original hot yoga teacher training course throughout the northeast. After hosting many successful OHY teacher trainings on the island, Kristin realized it was time to broaden her horizons and take the show on the road. This gave Kristin the idea to create a traveling teacher training that will hopefully come to a city of yours soon!

Born and raised in Huntington Mills, PA. Kristin spent her childhood as an equestrian. In her early adulthood, she became certified at the Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Paoli, PA. A center dedicated to developing the physical and emotional well-being of all people, particularly those with special needs.  Kristin has taught special education on the island for the last 10 years (‘til the Panny~D hit). In 2007, Kristin obtained her 200-hour teacher training certification in the Barkan Method Hot Yoga at the Hot Yoga College of India in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  She’s practiced and taught hot yoga through three healthy pregnancies and is mama to her three beautiful boys, Olsen (14), Ellis (10) & Indi (5).

Former business owner, mama of two. Hot Yoga has always been my go to ‘cure all’. Whenever I need to clear my head or feel more in my body- it perfectly accomplishes both and so much more.I’ve been practicing Hot Yoga since the 90’s. It all started with Bikram (Hot 26) and my love of heat. I found Kristin’s Hot Vinyasa and was blown away. It not only makes you feel strong physically but the classes also create space for you to work through all things mentally, as well. These classes pushe you to your limits and bring you home, well- not just a practice, it’s a journey.

I believe everyone should have to opportunity to benefit from this incredible practice and what it has to offer and The Hot Yoga School is providing just that.
